China Southern offering free upgrades
A new route between London and Wuhan will launch at the end of May.
Passengers who choose their seats in advance will be able to take advantage of a generous offer from China Southern Airlines – a free upgrade!
That’s according to The Daily Telegraph, who report that the airline will be offering Premium Economy seats on the flights for the same price as Economy ones.
Premium Economy seats offer more legroom and comfort to passengers.
The newspaper recommends that travellers select seats in rows 31 to 36 to benefit from the offer.
The China Southern route is one of a total of nine new flights between China and Europe are expected to be launched in the first half of 2018.
Several of the new flights will serve the United Kingdom at one end, including new connections between London and Wuhan, Xi’an and Changsha, and Edinburgh to Beijing via Dublin.
Flights between Chengdu and London are also set to resume in May after Air China revealed plans to operate the route.
Previously, British Airways had flown between the two cities several times a week, for five years between 2013 and 2017.
