Ahead of the Taking Flight theatre festival coming to London this weekend, Catherine caught up with Michael Phong Le, whose play Khon is premiering as part of the festival. The Vietnamese have a word for bending the rules… it’s called ‘khon’ – but Kevin is far more British than Vietnamese, and he has never really been any good at being khon, so when the police come knocking at the door…

Taking Flight Festival is on at London New Diorama Theatre on 3rd and 4th June 2018 and will also be touring in Cheltenham and at Buxton Fringe.
