Monsters exist! Or, at least for this weekend, they do. Video game creators of Monster Hunter: World are hosting a BBQ pop-up to celebrate the launch of the new game which launches tomorrow (26 January). The Monster Hunter Meat Shack opens today and will run until 28 January at Flat Iron Square, London Bridge.
The interior of the wood cabin venue has been decked out with greenery, sheepskin rugs and multiple gaming stations for those who fancy having a go at the new game. Meanwhile, outside you will find a giant scull made to scale after one of the game’s monsters, Rathalos, alongside an 8-foot tall and 8-foot wide BBQ spit! Diners will be treated to the meat and there will also be monster-sized meat platters with burgers, sides and cheese.
A market-stall will also form part of the experience, so guests can take home their own little piece of this very big new world.
The event (and the food is free) but it’s recommended that attendees book tickets, with one ticket securing a table for up to four guests. You can book here.
