New link from China to Cambodia

There’s now a new way to fly from China to Cambodia thanks to GX Airlines’ latest route.

Using modern A320 aircraft, the airline now links Nanning and Siem Reap two times a week.

That’s according to specialist publication anna.aero, who report that the route is the first international service for GX Airlines.

The flight was awarded the honour of being anna.aero’s ‘Route of the Week’ following its launch on 29th May.

Chinese airlines have been rapidly expanding their international and domestic services in recent months.

Indeed, we reported in January that a total of nine new flights between China and Europe are expected to be launched in the first half of 2018.

That’s according to specialist publication Travel Weekly, who report that more routes could follow later in the year, too.

Several of the new flights will serve the United Kingdom at one end, including new connections between London and Wuhan, Xi’an and Changsha, and Edinburgh to Beijing via Dublin.

The prediction of nine new flights was quickly exceeded.
