Paulo Dybala told Jose Mourinho ‘no need to make that gesture’ after Man Utd win

United scored twice late on to beat the Italian champions in Turin in midweek and Mourinho, formerly manager of Juve’s Serie A rivals Inter Milan, celebrated the victory by cupping his ears to the home fans while grinning, later claiming it was a reaction to comments from the crowd.

That drew an angry reaction from Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci, as well as Dybala, who both spoke to the Portuguese about the celebration after the full-time whistle.

“I just told him that there was no need to make that gesture,” Dybala told Sky Italy.

“There was no need to create more tension than there already was, sometimes you get insulted and it’s bad, but to create more tension than there already is…

“I told him there was no need, I didn’t insult him. I just told him that and left.”

Dybala scored the winner when the two sides met in Manchester last month, but United are now two points behind Juventus in Group H following their victory in the reverse fixture.
