West Brom hoping to keep Jonny Evans as transfer deadline nears

West Bromwich Albion have enjoyed a productive transfer window, bolstering their squad, acquiring the services of PSG midfielder Grezgorz Krychowiak on loan, and bringing in Jay Rodriguez from Southampton.

However the Midlands club, owned by Lai Guochuan, could still lose captain Jonny Evans to Manchester City. Should they lose the Northern Irishman, they are expected to go in for Liverpool outcast Mamadou Sakho or request Eliaquim Mangala in return from City.

Nacer Chadli could also depart from The Hawthorns, after Swansea expressed interest in the Belgian winger who would reportedly cost £25m. The Swans would only be able to sign Chadli should Fernando Llorente complete a move to Tottenham Hotspur though.
