Breaking News: Updates from Oxford Circus

In an earlier reported incident at Oxford Circus, at approximately 17.49 we received confirmation from the Metropolitan Police that they have searched the area and were unable to find any evidence of shots being fired and they have not found any casualites.

Whilst they initially treated the incident as terrorist-related, they are not treating it as such at the moment. This was due to the current threat level in the UK. People have advised for those in buildings to shelter in place, otherwise evacuate the street.

At 17.47 TFL confirmed that Oxford Circus and Bond Street stations are now open. Heavy armed police presence and emergency services in the area still.
