Announcement of Departure

On March 10, 2026, Heeseung announced his departure from ENHYPEN to pursue a solo career. This decision comes after six years of performing with the group, which debuted on November 30, 2020, following the Mnet audition program I-LAND.

At 24 years old, Heeseung was the oldest member of ENHYPEN and his exit marks the first lineup change for the group since its debut. BELIFT LAB, the agency managing ENHYPEN, stated that through discussions with the members, it became clear that Heeseung has his own distinct musical vision.

Future of ENHYPEN

Following Heeseung’s departure, ENHYPEN will continue its activities as a six-member group, consisting of Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki. The remaining members are expected to carry on with their official schedules without Heeseung.

Heeseung expressed his gratitude to his bandmates and fans in a heartfelt message, stating, “Thanks to the members with whom I shared countless emotions, and to ENGENE, who always filled every empty space with their support, I was able to take step after step toward a dream that once felt out of reach.”

Looking Ahead

Heeseung will remain signed to BELIFT LAB while preparing for his solo album, although details regarding the album have not yet been announced. His departure is significant not only for him but also for the fans and the remaining members of ENHYPEN.

ENHYPEN’s last mini album, THIS SIN: VANISH, was released in January 2026, and the group is expected to continue making music as they adapt to this new chapter. Heeseung’s heartfelt farewell highlights the emotional bond shared among the members and their commitment to their fans.

As the group transitions into this new phase, it will be interesting to see how they evolve and what direction they take moving forward. The impact of Heeseung’s departure will be felt by both the group and their dedicated fanbase, ENGENE.
