New ITV Series ‘Gone’ Premieres March 2026
The highly anticipated ITV series titled ‘Gone’ is set to premiere on March 8, 2026, at 9 PM on ITV1 and ITVX. The show stars David Morrissey as headmaster Michael Polly, whose life is turned upside down when his wife, Sarah Polly, mysteriously disappears.

In addition to Morrissey, the cast includes Eve Myles as DS Annie Cassidy. Myles shared her initial reaction to the scripts, saying, “My first impression when I read the scripts was one of intrigue and excitement because of the family liaison side of it.” This focus on family dynamics is expected to play a crucial role in the narrative.
The series is inspired by the book ‘To Hunt a Killer’ and is partly influenced by the career of respected former Detective Superintendent for Gloucestershire Police, Julie Mackay. This connection to real-life investigative work adds an additional layer of depth to the storyline.
