ITV has officially commissioned a new travel series featuring the beloved duo Gary Barlow and Jason Manford, titled ‘Gary Barlow’s Food & Wine Tour: New Zealand’. This exciting venture will consist of six episodes, each lasting 30 minutes, showcasing the stunning landscapes and rich culinary culture of New Zealand.
The series, produced by Rock Oyster Media in collaboration with Tourism New Zealand and Great Rail Journeys, promises to deliver a delightful blend of adventure and humor. Activities planned for the series include tandem biking and even rescuing penguins, ensuring that viewers are in for a treat.
David Nottage, the executive producer, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Gary is a much-loved, charismatic and inquisitive traveller. Pair him with his mate Jason Manford and belly laughs and high adrenaline are guaranteed!” This partnership is expected to resonate well with audiences, especially given their previous successful collaborations.
This new series follows Gary Barlow’s earlier travel shows set in South Africa and Australia, which collectively reached an impressive audience of five million viewers.
