K-pop fans panic as BTS concert tickets sell out in seconds

K-pop fans were left in a panic this morning as tickets for Korean supergroup BTS’s UK concerts sold out in seconds online.

Customers reported long online queues and messages saying tickets were unavailable within seconds of tickets going on sale at 9am this morning.

Many took to Twitter with pleas for spare tickets, while resale websites showed tickets on sale for up to £1,680.

Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook are playing two concerts at London’s O2 arena on 9th and 10th October as part of their Love Yourself world tour.

The bulletproof boy squad has a self-proclaimed ‘ARMY’ of fans online and has even had books written about their rise to fame.

They were the first Korean pop artists to reach number one on the US album charts, making their album Love Yourself: Tear the first number one record in 12 years that’s in a language other than English.
