LEGO Tintin Moon Rocket Set to Launch in 2026
The LEGO Tintin Moon Rocket is set to be released on April 1, 2026, featuring a total of 1,283 pieces and priced at $159.99. This highly anticipated set is inspired by the classic Tintin comic books, particularly Destination Moon and Explorers on the Moon.
The rocket showcases a distinctive red-and-white chequered design, a nod to the adventurous spirit of Tintin and his companions. It includes six minifigures: Tintin, Captain Haddock, Professor Calculus, Thomson, Thompson, and Snowy, allowing fans to recreate their favorite scenes.
One of the standout features of the LEGO Tintin Moon Rocket is its hidden control room, which enables builders to recreate the moment when Tintin and his crew first viewed Earth from space. This intricate detail adds to the immersive experience of the set.
The design of the set was created by fan designer Alexis Dos Santos, who submitted it through the LEGO Ideas program. His design garnered 10,000 votes, leading to its approval by the LEGO Ideas Review Board.
Alexis Dos Santos expressed his excitement, stating, “Creating the Tintin Moon Rocket has been an incredible journey. I hope the build sparks the same sense of imagination and adventure that inspired me from the very beginning.”
The LEGO Group, founded in 1932 in Billund, Denmark, continues to engage fans of all ages with innovative and nostalgic products. The Tintin Moon Rocket is targeted at adults aged 18 and older, reflecting a growing trend in the LEGO community towards more complex and themed builds.
Pre-orders for the set are currently available, and it can be purchased via LEGO.com and LEGO Stores. With its rich history and connection to the beloved Tintin franchise, this set is expected to attract both LEGO enthusiasts and Tintin fans alike.
As the release date approaches, observers are eager to see how this set will be received by the market. Details remain unconfirmed regarding any additional features or promotional events surrounding the launch.
