Reverend and The Makers are launching a pop-up shop at Meadowhall from May 8 to May 10, 2026, to promote their new album, “Is This How Happiness Feels?” Fans can expect exclusive merchandise, including signed copies and a limited Sheffield edition vinyl.
Darren Pearce, the center director at Meadowhall, expressed excitement about the event. “It’s brilliant to welcome Reverend and the Makers back to Meadowhall. They’re a huge part of Sheffield’s music scene, and this pop-up gives fans a really special chance to celebrate the new album,” he said.
For three days, the pop-up will transform part of the shopping center into a vibrant hub of music and creativity. Jon McClure, the band’s frontman, added, “We’re buzzing to be doing a brand-new pop-up shop at Meadowhall. Think three days of music, mayhem and madness – come down and be part of it. Grab the new album and support our chart push!”
This launch comes at an interesting time for Yorkshire’s coastal areas, as Scarborough South Bay has recently been named one of the dirtiest beaches in England. In contrast, Bridlington South Beach has improved its water quality—no longer holding the Brown Flag status it once did.
In total, only 15 beaches across England received Brown Flags for 2026. Yorkshire ranks 12th out of 19 English coastal counties for clean bathing water, with only 52% of its beaches rated “excellent” compared to 68% nationwide.
The Brown Flag Awards analyze data from hundreds of beaches before handing out prizes each year. As Reverend and The Makers prepare for their exciting event at Meadowhall, fans can look forward to celebrating not just their music but also a sense of community within the Sheffield music scene.
