It’s time to celebrate oriental food

Take three friends, too many cocktails and an obsession with Oriental food, and what do you get? The Golden Chopsticks Awards!

We are delighted to announce the launch of The Golden Chopsticks Awards at The London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square on 16th April 2018, the only awards to recognise and celebrate the enormous contribution of Oriental cuisines to the UK catering industry.

Chinese culture and cuisine has been an integral part of the UK dining scene for the past 60 years with Chinese food voted the nation’s favourite year on year.

Nowadays joining the well-established Japanese and Thai food scene we see Korean, Malaysian and Vietnamese dishes growing in popularity together with specialist regional Chinese offerings. This market is evolving and The GCA’s wants to recognise the huge range of Oriental dining options available today.

Founded by Gok Wan, Lucy Mitchell and Sarah Lewis, and a host of celebrity judges like Ken Hom OBE and Ching-He Huang, Simon Rimmer and Jeremy Pang as well as high-quality food and a chance for you to take part too this event promises to be a fixture of the London awards scene for years to come.

Do you know a great Oriental restaurant that you’re proud to call your local? You can vote for them now and be in with the chance to win a trip of a lifetime to Hong Kong sponsored by Lee Kum Kee.

So, Vote Now for your favourite Oriental restaurant for your chance to win. Voting closes on March 12th.
