Wizzair Expands Routes: New Flights from Zadar to Budapest and Warsaw
What Happened
Zadar Airport has announced the introduction of Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air to its market. The airline will operate flights connecting Zadar with Budapest and Warsaw during the summer schedule, specifically from June 9 to September 19. Both routes will feature four weekly flights.
Why It Matters
The addition of Wizz Air enhances connectivity for travelers in the region, providing direct access to major cities in Hungary and Poland. The Budapest–Zadar route will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while the Warsaw–Zadar route will follow the same frequency. The use of the Airbus A321neo indicates a significant capacity for passengers, which may stimulate tourism and economic activity in Zadar.
What’s Next
Flight schedules are already available in Wizz Air’s reservation system, allowing travelers to book their journeys. The airline’s expansion into Zadar is part of a broader strategy to increase its presence in key European markets. Additionally, Wizz Air has recently launched WIZZ Link, a platform designed to simplify travel planning by allowing passengers to book multiple flights in a single transaction, further enhancing travel options for customers.
