Debate is currently ongoing about whether or not eSports should be included in the Paris 2024 Olympics.

It is already set to be included in the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.

The Olympic Council of Asia said the decision to include eSports in the games would reflect “the rapid development and popularity of this new form of sports participation.”

The debate about including competitive video gaming in the Olympics focuses on how violent video games can be.

The line for which video games were used would be the promotion of violence or any kind of demonstration.
